Reseña: Con la llegada de una nueva década la Hammer se 'aggiornó' y comenzó a tratar de atraer público con filmes de vampiros eróticos. En este caso se adaptó la obra de J. Sheridan Le Fanu "Carmilla" (que por sus implicaciones homosexuales no se solía adaptar a la pantalla) y se le adosó dos nuevos elementos: lesbianismo y desnudos. Está Peter Cushing, lo cual es una garantía.
Nota: En Argentina fue auspiciada por el BELA LUGOSI CLUB "por mostrar toda la violencia, el humor y el erotismo de 'Carmilla'". [Cinefania.com]
